You can face two types of subtitle errors in this app. Let me explain in steps. 

1st: Broken Subtitles Error

When a subtitle file is improperly formatted or is not properly synced with the audio of the content that you are watching, it happens. If this type of issue you are experiencing in your installed app, just follow these steps: 

  • Click Sources
  • Click subtitles
  • Click Auto 
  • Now the app will show the best available subtitles.

The issue will be resolved.

2nd: Subtitles Casting Errors on TV

If you are facing subtitle errors on TV, follow these steps to fix the error.

  • Use only trusted Casting apps. (Try from Google Play Store)
  • Change the streaming link on TV.
  • Press and hold the play button. And go with the “play with video cast” Option.

The issue will be resolved.

How can you customise Chromecast subtitles?

You can change subtitles, font style, background colour, font size and text outline in the CloudStream app. Just follow these steps to do this.

  • Click on settings.
  • Choose Player
  • Click on subtitles.
  • Click on Chromecast subtitles. Change subtitles as you prefer.
  • Click on the apply button.
  • Changes will apply now.

You can restore any option by holding press on that option.
